Clamp Type Rubber Joint

Clamp Type Rubber Joint

The clamp type rubber joint, also referred to as a hose-end rubber connector or quick-fit rubber expansion joint, is a flexible coupling designed for low-pressure piping systems where quick installation and maintenance are required. Instead of traditional flange connections, this joint uses stainless steel clamps or hose clamps to secure the joint ends to pipes, allowing for fast assembly without welding or bolting.

Widely used in building water systems, HVAC, irrigation, drainage pipelines, and temporary piping setups, the clamp rubber joint is valued for its easy installation, cost-effectiveness, and high flexibility. It is ideal for absorbing vibration, reducing noise, and compensating for minor axial and lateral displacement in short-distance pipeline sections.

Manufactured from premium EPDM, NBR, or Neoprene rubber and reinforced with nylon fabric or steel wire layers, the clamp type joint ensures corrosion resistance, tensile strength, and reliable sealing performance. It is available in a range of diameters and compatible with common clamp sizes used in industrial and civil applications.

Key Features of Clamp Type Rubber Joint

Notes

  1. Customization available upon request with specific drawings or specifications; flanges are based on the “National General Water Supply and Drainage Standard Atlas,” others follow HG/T2289-92.

  2. For DN350-600(2) models, working pressure is 1.6MPa; for DN32-400(3) models, working pressure is 2.5MPa.

  3. For DN700-DN200 models, working pressure is 1.0MPa; for DN1400, working pressure is 0.6MPa; for DN1600-DN1800, working pressure is 0.4MPa, flanges are selected according to 0.6MPa; for DN2000, working pressure is 0.25MPa, flanges are selected according to 0.6MPa pressure.

  4. For high-rise water supply, products above DN200 must have fixed supports or brackets; otherwise, anti-pullout devices should be installed.
